That's what they called the epic fight in 1916 between Mr Jinxie, the American fighting cat, and the German dachsund, Ludwig von Breslau-Menken. In the cruel sport of animal fighting these two were the champions in the light weight category. Because of the the Great War and growing concerns by Humane Societies about these fights, it was held at a neutral site, Berne, Switzerland. Gamblers came in large numbers from the US and Germany. Animal Rights advocates showed up and began street protests outside the fight venue."
